Saturday FAIR Meeting Changes: 

From group conscience discussion:
·         The meeting will now be starting at 11:30. The change in meeting time is to allow more people the opportunity to attend.

·         The arrangement of meeting topics has changed: the first meeting of the month is the Step corresponding to the month, and the fourth meeting of the month is the Tradition corresponding to the month. All other meetings are literature-based open discussion meetings. This means that the leader is free to discuss any topic they would like to discuss, provided that the discussion is grounded in the literature listed on the meeting’s approved literature list.

·         The meeting will no longer use a timer for the positive pitches or for individual sharing during the meeting. Instead the meeting format will suggest that attendees be mindful of the time they take to share so that there is enough time for everyone to speak. The time allotted for the leader to share remains at 10 minutes and the time for positive pitches remains at 1-2 minutes per person, with each person being responsible for managing her time with guidance from the leader as needed.
